Principals

David Burka, President

Mr. Burka is the founder and president of Delbe Real Estate, Inc., a Certified Public Accountant and licensed real estate broker in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He has been involved in various facets of real estate for over 35 years.

Mr. Burka graduated with honors with a B.S. in Accounting from Miami University in Ohio, and went on to earn his M.B.A. from George Washington, University. He has extensive experience in construction and maintenance on both a commercial and residential level having overseen both office building and planned community developments.

Mr. Burka is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington DC Association of Realtors and he has served as an officer, board member and committee member for numerous charitable and non-profit organizations.

Scott Burka, Vice President

Scott Burka has responsibility and oversight for the day to day operations of Delbe's Community Association division.

He is a graduate of Brandeis University with a B.A. in Economics and is a licensed real estate agent in Maryland and Virginia, and a licensed broker in the District of Columbia. He holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation, the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation and has been an active member in the Washington Chapter of Community Associations Institute for over 17 years including serving as a past member of the Small and Self Managed Associations Subcommittee and having several articles published.

Scott joined Delbe in 1993 following four years with Riggs National Bank. During that time he served as Assistant Vice President in the Financial Services/Private Client Group and was involved in various aspects of real estate and financial management. Scott has also served as an officer, board member and committee member for several charitable and non-profit organizations.

Mira Brown, Senior Property Manager

Mira Brown has been with Delbe since 2000 after graduating from Virginia Tech with a B.A. in History and is now a Senior Property Manager for 8 properties managed by Delbe. During her ten-year tenure with Delbe she has held several positions within the company, managed special projects, and served as a mentor to new managers. She holds her Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and Association Management Specialist (AMS) from Community Association Institute (CAI). She has also served as an officer, board member and committee member for several charitable and non-profit organizations.

Eric Finke, Property Manager

Eric has 12 years of diverse experience in the finance and real estate industry. Eric began his career in real estate on the Development side. This experience allows him success in working with new associations transitioning from Developer to resident control. He has always focused on the customer aspect of real estate and Delbe was a natural fit when he joined the firm in 2009. Outside of the office, Eric is a sports enthusiast whose passions include his young family and traveling when he is not residing at his home in Northern Virginia. Eric is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
